A breath coach is a certified instructor who analyzes your breathing patterns using the Breathing IQ (B-IQ).⁠

Breathing is something we all do, but most of us have poor breathing habits that leave us stressed and exhausted.⁠

According to @drbelisa's Ted Talk, 9/10 of us breathe in a way that is out of sync with our bodies.⁠

Breathing incorrectly can cause problems as we get older, such as:⁠

SIT UP STRAIGHT! 🪑⁠

Isn't it funny how every time you hear or see those words, you instantly notice how bad your posture is?⁠

Don't worry, it happens to the best of us! ⁠

But with it being "Correct Posture Month" I thought I would give you an easy one to remember to correct your posture— and practice mindfulness— for at least 1 minute a day. ⁠

I call it: the S.T.O.P and B.O.P⁠
⁠⁠
🛑 First, S.T.O.P and get the body ready.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
S- Shoulders relaxed⁠⁠
T- Tummy soft⁠⁠
O- Open & close the mouth⁠⁠
P- Posture tall⁠⁠
⁠⁠
Once you're in position, we're going to B.O.P or Breathe On Purpose!⁠⁠ 🌬⁠

SIT UP STRAIGHT! 🪑⁠ ⁠ Isn't it funny how every time you hear or see those words, you instantly notice how bad your posture is?⁠ ⁠ Don't worry, it happens to the best of us! ⁠ ⁠ But with it being "Correct Posture Month" I thought I would give you an easy one to remember to correct your posture— and practice mindfulness— for at least 1 minute a day. ⁠ ⁠ I call it: the S.T.O.P and B.O.P⁠ ⁠⁠ 🛑 First, S.T.O.P and get the body ready.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ S- Shoulders relaxed⁠⁠ T- Tummy soft⁠⁠ O- Open & close the mouth⁠⁠ P- Posture tall⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Once you're in position, we're going to B.O.P or Breathe On Purpose!⁠⁠ 🌬⁠ ⁠⁠ Follow the video for a quick 5-minute breathing exercise to help you de-stress.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ ⁠💬 Leave a comment or DM me if you have tried this and how it felt before and after!⁠⁠ ⁠ 📸 @katemorriscreative⁠
