According to @drbelisa, creator of #thebreathingclass, "Poor posture can affect your ability to breath by up to 30%." 😳 ⁠

Simply put...if your posture is poor, your breathing will be poor. ⁠
⁠
👩🏻‍💻 Many of us spend way too much time slouched over a computer screen or iPhone, which can lead to something called Forward Head Posture (when your head is positioned so that your ears are in front of your shoulders). Check yourself out from the side.  Are your ears directly over your shoulders or inching forward?⁠

What poor breathing posture looks like:⁠
• Shoulders rounded⁠
• Neck jutting forward⁠
• Selfie “butt"⁠
• Gut sucked in “stiff”⁠
• Chest puffed ⁠
• Mouth open⁠
• Forward head posture (FHP) with ears in front of your shoulders⁠

Your head is heavy (about 10 pounds). If your neck and shoulders support that dead weight all day long, it is no wonder why so many people have chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain.⁠
